Have a look at this stunning shower room refurbishment recently completed in the Mid Ulster Area. Our team transformed this bathroom from a tight, dreary room into a light, spacious, functional room from the initial site visit, design consultation and then the final fit out.
At the design consultation our customer explained how they wanted a room with a modern feel to it. They liked the idea of a wall hung toilet, wall hung vanity unit and a wet room shower which would make the room more spacious.
Following on from the design consultation we decided on the most suitable bathroom layout and planned out the work schedule. This ensured our men were planned in at the right time to guarantee that the job ran smoothly.
When we got to work in this bathroom, we began by forming a stud wall to house the TECE cistern frame for the wall hung WC. We made use of the stud wall through creating an alcove out of the additional space in the stud wall. This alcove is used as a shelf within the room. Our customer decided on a Villeroy and Boch rimless wall hung WC and a Villeroy and Boch wall hung vanity unit with Ceramic Basin in this room for a durable yet luxurious finish.
The next step was forming the wet area and installing the Merlyn frameless shower door. We used the same porcelain floor tile within the wet area and got the floor tile cut up into a mosaic of smaller squares to work within the fall of the wet area. Using the same floor tile in the wet area created a seamless look throughout the room. We also used the matching wall tile paired with the décor tile on the shower wall to create a slight feature wall within the bathroom. Our customer decided on high quality, Keuco brassware within this room to add the perfect finishing touches to this stunning bathroom.
Our design team utilised the current window in this room to ensure this downstairs bathroom carried a light, bright feel throughout the room which was emphasised through the choice of clean, fresh Italian tiles and a matching Farrow and Ball paint colour for the walls that we didn’t tile.
